Movement

Movement

The thought of moving a specific limb of your body triggers the cerebral cortex sending excitation signals to extremities to initiate proper movements.  An execution of a proper movement is a well-orchestrated concert of appropriate amount of chemical, neurotransmitter, un-disruptive relay of electric signals and muscle contractions.  At the same time, the excitation signals are also being counterbalanced with restrictive signals to smooth out movement to prevent overshooting so as not to miss your target or resulting in having uncontrollable tremors.

By regulating the neural transmitters and signals, acupuncture tempers either over-active (tremor) or excites paralysis (weakness) mobility. Auricular and scalp areas are particularly helpful to check excessive neural excitation to control undesired ticks, twitches and jerking.  Acupuncture is helpful to relieve pain and restore range of motion after a surgery.
