  • I started seeing Tammy 8 years ago with my son, who was just 6 years old and had severe joint pain from a virus from multiple spider bites.  He was in pain for many months and we had been to so many specialists and had so many tests done, we were so worried and frustrated. 
     Tammy was the only acupuncturist I could find that would work with someone so young. 
    I was very grateful as I didn’t know where else to turn to.  In just a few treatments, my son’s pain started to get better.  He never felt scared during treatments as Tammy would show him pictures of her cats and talk to him. 
    I also started seeing her at the same time, for stress, TMJ/ear/neck pain, lower back pain and painful bladder syndrome.  I am grateful to have found this practice as I have found relief from many of my issues throughout the years.  
     
    I highly recommend Tammy Chang, at Essence of Acupuncture.  Her bedside manner is kind, gentle and caring.   She takes her time working with you and really listens to what you are saying.  She explains what she is doing and is happy to answer any questions you have during treatment.  Treatment is never rushed.

  • I was referred to Tammy, Essence of Acupuncture in October 2021 after my kids and I were hit by a drunk driver with various injuries requiring pain and trauma management which acupuncture addresses beautifully. Tammy, not only is extremely skilled at what she does but also is intuitive and has a good understanding of the interconnectivity of the human body and mind.
